Description
Umoja's Rites of Passage, the university's annual commencement weekend celebration for Black graduates, will be taking place May 16th in the Jacob Sleeper Auditorium from 12pm-4pm. Join us for this historic celebration of Black success! The $25 fee covers the cost of the Class of 2019 Kente stole. During the ceremony, you will be given the stole and have someone of your choosing drape the stole over you. Admission is free for guests. However, space in the auditorium is limited and it is recommended that your guests arrive early, as we cannot guarantee seating for any guests. Please email umoja@bu.edu if you have any questions
